My 20-year career in B2B tech PR is grounded in storytelling - I’m a journalist at heart and spent the first part of my professional journey as a television news reporter around the country, including a stint at CBS News in New York. For the last two decades, I’ve focused on developing and executing strategic PR programs for companies in a variety of industries - from emerging growth tech start-ups to large consumer brands. I love the process and the results - it’s still a thrill to help clients achieve business success as a result of increased buzz and brand awareness.
Notable Result: I pride myself on the relationship aspect of client partnerships, as evidenced by our long-standing engagements with companies. A core example of how deep my collaborations run is that I was once awarded "Employee of the Month" for a client. :)
Favorite Connection: As a Wisconsin Badger with a background in journalism and PR, there are too many good connections to count! However, my favorite would have to be my first PR mentor and current PR partner, Nigel Smith. He supported me at the beginning of my PR career when we worked together at a mid-sized agency in San Francisco. We became fast friends 20 years ago—and he even attended my wedding in Wisconsin in 2007!
